Rod is an English actor who grew up in South East London
Before Rod's acting career he studied an apprenticeship with Australia's boxing legends Bernie Hall ( Sydney ) and Max Pescud (Gold Coast ) making a living sparring with fighters from all over Australia and the world for their upcoming title bouts and trained under the late Mick Carney MBE at the famous Fitzroy Lodge boxing club in Lambeth South London , where he sparred regularly with David Haye former Cruiser and Heavy weight champion of the world and Ted Bami former European light welterweight champion.
Rod then auditioned and got accepted to study at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art school (LAMDA) in London where he trained to be a classically trained theatre Actor.
on leaving LAMDA he served his acting apprenticeship playing various acting parts on many of London's theatre stage's while taking class with celebrated and inspirational acting coach Nina Finburgh , which led him to playing the Death Eater Thorfinne Rowle in the Harry Potter films where he was nominated for his stunt work in the famous " cafe scene " in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1.
He has appeared in numerous TV and Film parts from Waking The Dead, Law And Order , the Royals TV series and the number 1 Netflix show Stay Close and Daniel Craigs final Bond film , No Time To Die.
Rod gets asked to do a lot of his own stunts in his film roles due to his Physical back ground in combat in boxing and Traditional Japanese Kobudo Martial art.
