Lucas Belkind
- Post Production Supervisor
- Editor
- Producer
Lucas Belkind grew up in the desert oasis of Phoenix, Arizona with the
childhood dream of becoming either Steven Spielberg or Indiana Jones.
He decided to combine the two and to move to Los Angeles in 2004.
Four years later, he graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in
Visual Anthropology (Documentary Filmmaking), an emphasis in Film
Production, and a minor in theatre. During this time, he also
entertained millions as he traveled across the United States (and the
world) as a drum line member of the USC "Spirit of Troy" Marching Band, won nearly $10,000 in prizes on "The Price is
Right," and produced a 35mm independent short film.
In 2009, he left Los Angeles to pursue a Masters program in Visual Anthropology (Documentary Filmmaking) at the University of Manchester in Manchester, England.
Upon earning his Masters and returning to the United States in late 2010, Belkind has worked on various productions in a wide variety of media formats both freelance and with Planet C Studios, where he was head of Post-Production and a Creative Supervisor until 2025. He has had the pleasure of working on independent feature films, shorts, television commercials, podcasts, digital media, reality television, conventions, theme park attractions for Universal Studios theme parks across the world, and interactive experiences at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood in Burbank, California. He was also the Creative Supervisor for "Horror Made Here" at Warner Bros.
Belkind is currently Post Production Supervisor for the Jordan Matter YouTube channel.
