She began her career in the world of Shakespeare, performing in small theatres before moving to the UK to pursue a post-graduate degree in English. Kelley's passion for the arts led her to remain in England, where she continued to act in both Shakespearean and English Renaissance Drama productions.

Her transition into the film and television industry came through her work as a supporting artist, allowing her to gain first-hand experience on set. Kelley's love for action and adventure naturally led her to train as a stunt performer.
