Kate has an MFA from SMU in Dallas, Texas.
She is also a certified Alexander Technique teacher.
She was born and raised outside of Philadelpia, where she was a competitive swimmer. She also played field hockey, soccer, and tennis. She has two younger sisters.
She has spent most of her career working in regional theater, most notably several seasons at Utah Shakespeare Festival and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
