Born and raised in Troy, MI, Torey Adkins attended Troy High where he was an All-State football player.
He started his acting and comedy career in Detroit before moving to Chicago in 2005.
In 2018 he overcame a near death experience that resulted in him suffering partial paralysis. After a year of intense physical therapy, he was able to regain his ability to walk and has resumed his career.
