Biography

Philip Chenier is an American former professional basketball player, a guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for ten seasons. Born and raised in Berkeley, California, Chenier graduated from Berkeley High School and played college basketball at the University of California in Berkeley. He was also a television sports broadcaster for the NBA's Washington Wizards.

Played for the NBA'a Baltimore/Capital/Washington Bullets (1971-1979) Indiana Pacers (1979-1980) and Golden State Warriors (1980-1981).

Inducted into the Washington Metropolitan Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
