Biography

  • Sascia Haj was born and raised in Hamburg. She guest starred on shows like Bronski & Bernstein (2001), Klinik am Alex (2009), Streit um Drei (1998) and Good Times, Bad Times (1992) and was booked for many ads and music videos.

Peter Weck cast Haj in his made-for-TV movie Am Ende siegt die Liebe (2000) alongside Marianne Sägebrecht in 2000. Later, she co-starred with Marco Girnth, Katja Woywood and Oliver Korittke in romantic comedies like Good in Bed? (2007) or Love Greeting of an Angel (2008). She proved her versatility in various short films made between 2007 and 2017. In 2009 and 2010, she created the part of Stefanie 'Steffi' Graf, a sharp-tongued psychologist/astrologer, in Alex und der Löwe (2010) and Men to Kiss (2012). Rosa von Praunheim then gave her a substantial supporting role in his art house drama Tough Love (2015).
