Brian Drewes

Brian Drewes is a visual effects supervisor, technology entrepreneur, and inventor whose career has spanned feature film production, cloud computing, and AI governance. He founded the visual effects studio Zero VFX and the cloud rendering platform ZYNC, which was acquired by Google in 2014 after transforming rendering workflows for many small to mid-sized studios. Following the acquisition of Zero VFX, he continues to supervise select productions while focusing on the intersection of filmmaking, artificial intelligence, and the technologies needed to establish trust, provenance, and accountability in digital media.
