Judie Mancuso is the founder, CEO, and president of Social Compassion in Legislation (SCIL), the leading political legislative advocacy group for animal rights and protection laws. She has spearheaded over 80 state bills with 30 signed into law. Achieving landmark reforms such as banning the sale of animal-tested cosmetics, prohibiting wild animals in circuses, ending fur trapping, and banning retail sales of puppy-mill animals. She is also the author of "Because They Need Us, My Political Fight to Save Animals."
