Lavell James(III)

Lavell James was born in West Philadelpia. He was the last of five kids. Lavell enjoyed his time in Philadelphia although it was cut short. He moved to the city of Camden, New Jersey, at the age of 6. It was also where he experienced many ups and downs. Lavell lived a quiet childhood as he attended Coopers Poynt School. A struggling family Lavell did all he could to stay positive. As Lavell entered the 6th grade he had no idea he was about to suffer a major loss in his life. At the age of 12, Lavell suffered the loss of his father. Lavell was able to keep his head up and continue working hard to complete the 6th and 7th grade. Heading into the 8th grade is when things could've took a turn for the worse. At the age of 13, Lavell suffered his biggest loss...his mother. Lavell was able to hold his head up and strive to graduate from middle school in the year 2000. Heading into high school Lavell wanted a new look. Like his idol, Allen Iverson, Lavell wanted braids. Lavell attended Camden County Technical School in Pennsauken, New Jersey. During his junior year, Lavell came across a book that would change his life. A book on the life of Julia Roberts. Once he completed the book, Lavell knew what he was destined to do...act. Lavell went on to graduate from high school in the year 2004. From high school, Lavell attended Camden County College for 2 years as a Theatre Major. Along with acting Lavell also writes screenplays. In 2010, Lavell created his own entertainment company, Diamond D Entertainment.
