- Lykke Li was born on March 18, 1986 in Stockholm, Sweden. She is an actress and composer, known for The Divergent Series: Insurgent (2015), Possessor (2020) and The Fault in Our Stars (2014).
- Her mother is a photographer and her father is a musician.
- The family spent some time in Lisbon, Portugal, and in Morocco. In the winter, they moved to Nepal and India.
- She moved to the neighborhood Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York when she was 19 and lived there for three months. And returned when she was 21 to record her album.
- She and her parents lived in Stockholm until she was a toddler. When she was six they moved to a mountaintop in Portugal where they lived for five years.
