- Amruta Khanvilkar Malhotra is an Indian actress. She was born in Mumbai into a Marathi family to Ajit and Gauri Khanvilkar. When she was a kid, her family shifted to Pune, where she studied at Karnataka High School and graduated from Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Commerce. She started her career in 2004 as a contestant on India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj. She has worked in many Hindi and Marathi movies and is one of the highest paid actors in Marathi industry. She won the seventh season of the dance reality show Nach Baliye with her husband Himmanshoo Malhotra.
