Biography

Hansjoachim Krätke was born on August 25, 1903 in Berlin-Charlottenburg, Germany. He was a producer and actor, known for Ultima Thule - Das weite Land (1986) and Lone Wolf (1984). He was married to Ingeborg Jacobsen, Grita Krätke and Felicitas. He died on May 28, 1984 in Pfronten, Bavaria, Germany.

His son Olaf Krätke joined the actors program of his father Hans-Joachim Krätke in 1965 and learned stage-acting, fencing and camera-acting, until the death of his father in 1984.

He got his education as actor at the Reichersche Hochschule, Berlin, Dancing at the Dalcroze Schule Berlin, and the Laban Schule Kiel. He was fencing master and teacher (foil, rapier, saber).

Three sons, the eldest is Michael Krätke (born October 11th, 1949), Stefan Krätke (born July 19th, 1951) and the youngest son Olaf A. Krätke (born August 31st, 1959).
