Ashlee Hewitt is an American singer/songwriter based out of Nashville Tennessee. She is half of the country pop duo "Post Monroe". She grew up in Lancaster Minnesota. From the age of 13 she wrote and performed all over the Midwest with her band. She started making trips to record in Nashville TN by the age of 14. She fell in love with the city and moved to town as soon as she graduated high school.. She auditioned for Nashville Star in 2008 and took 5th place on the 7th season of the NBC Network Show.
