American mixed martial artist and an accomplished former collegiate wrestler. He has a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship's middleweight division and is the former UFC Welterweight Champion.

Has controversial losses to George St. Pierre and Robbie Lawler. His own performances declined after these fights. Also struggles to make weight since then.
