- Raúl Capote Braña is a Cuban-Spanish actor known for his work in film, theatre and television. Trained in Acting at the Universidad de las Artes (ISA) in Havana, he has over twenty years of professional experience and has performed in more than fifty stage productions and over thirty films across Cuba, Spain, Norway, the Netherlands, Mexico, Canada and the United States. His screen credits include leading roles in the feature films La piscina (The Swimming Pool), award winning at the Berlin International Film Festival, and Club de Jazz, as well as prominent roles in Café amargo, Sin la Habana, El secadero, Lobos and Molina´s Feroz. On television he has hosted several programs for Cuban national broadcasting and appeared in series such as Tras la huella and Próceres de América. Capote combines his acting career with work as an acting coach, professor, creative producer and filmmaker. Is the founder of the collaborative arts community La Manigua Cooperativa Audiovisual.
