- Adi Shankar was born on January 8, 1985 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. He is a producer and writer, known for Castlevania (2017), Dredd (2012) and The Grey (2011).
- He wanted to make an R-rated Bourne-style Where's Waldo movie that answers the question "why is Waldo hiding?".
- He has one of the three helmets from Dredd (2012) in his memorabilia collection.
- In 2014 he offered to leak the Deadpool test footage on his Bootleg Universe YouTube channel to help get the feature film greenlit. Director Tim Miller ended up creating a pitch video for the Deadpool film on Shankar's channel.
- His fans hope that he will make a Berserk anime series.
