Paul J. Toth has been in the television and film world since 1984 starting his career off at CTV Calgary where he was immersed in live television, commercial production and news. He then moved on to Shaw Communications where he was instrumental in the launch of Shaw TV, where he won several awards for promotional campaigns.
From there he ventured out on his own and has been involved in feature films, television program production and commercial work. Over the last 2 decades he has written, shot, edited and produced hundreds of commercials that have run and continue to run throughout North America. His vast experience goes from cinematography, post-production and producing. Paul also completed a Feature Film Screenwriting certificate, with Honors, in 2012 from UCLA on and has written several screenplays.
Luckily, Paul has had the opportunity to work with some legends such as Captain Kirk, William Shatner and Jason Bonham, the son of Led Zeppelin's drummer John Bonham.
in 2010 he earned a Broadway Credit in the Broadway production of 'Rain a Tribute to the Beatles on Broadway', which not only included creating the video content used in the live show, but also both the radio and television campaigns that ran in New York.
From 2008 until 2017, Paul produced the 'Annual BLG Awards' airing nationwide on both TSN & Sportsnet. In 2014 & 2015 Paul worked on the first two seasons of APTN's 'underExposed' which garnered a number of awards for the editing team.
in 2019, Paul produced the TV & Radio creative for the acclaimed Ben Elton & Queen live musical theatre show 'We Will Rock You' that ran throughout North America.
In 2021 he produced 'A Dinosaur Tale' for distribution streaming on Broadway on Demand in New York. Today, Paul is producing several live musical theatrical productions and working on a cool documentary.
