Biography

Jered Allen began acting on stage in Oklahoma in 1989 before moving into film and television. His screen credits include National Geographic's The Right Stuff for Disney+, produced by Appian Way Productions and Warner Bros. Television, along with CSI: Miami, An Encounter with the Messiah, First Encounter, and Dry Creek: America's First Frontier.

Behind the camera, Allen co-directed Missing Amber alert (2011), a documentary on the abduction that led to the creation of the AMBER Alert system. As owner of Crazy Horse Productions, he directs and produces music videos, commercials, and branded content, including music videos for country artist Andy Pursell and branded work for Salt Life, ESPN, and Fox.

(2026) Allen is directing and producing the feature documentary Pray for Mayberry, chronicling Christian Mayberry's story of survival, faith, and perseverance.
