Biography

Angela Relucio is an actor and producer working in the Los Angeles and Southeast markets, building a career that spans performance, development, IP creation, and a ton of fun along the way.

She is best known for her recurring roles on CBS’s "Code Black" (as Nurse Risa) and on Season 1 of "Six" (as Navy Intelligence Officer Lt. Camille Fung). Her film work includes Julie Taymor’s "The Glorias," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and the feature "Angel," for which Angela received the Best Supporting Actress award at ICFF.

As the industry shifted, Angela honed her knack for producing, and began to develop both original and adapted projects. She gravitates toward genre---sci-fi, fantasy, and horror---and is particularly drawn to grounded characters inside high-stakes worlds, and material that blends emotional intimacy with epic scale. She continues to work as an actor across both coasts while building her own slate of projects aligned with that vision.

Angela has also stepped into music as a singer-songwriter, as seen with the alt-metal track "Sailor to Slayer," the official theme song for the indie horror film "Popeye the Slayer Man," expanding her creative footprint into the music space.

Beyond the screen, Angela is a competitive Catan player; the owner of one of the largest communities of the popular board game; and live-event producer, furthering her strong understanding of human & audience behavior and engagement---insight she brings into her work as both an actor and producer.

Origin story? Raised in the Bronx, New York, Angela began as a competitive dancer before being accepted into Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She ultimately chose a more academic path at Bronx High School of Science, where she was bitten by the acting bug and went on to earn her BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, training at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

Now, Angela is based in both Los Angeles and Atlanta, dog-momming and nerding out at ren faires, comic cons, and antique shops, ready for whatever creative adventure comes next.
