Jean Lupien

Blondes fall into one of three categories in Hollywood - Hitchcock Blonde, Tarantino Blonde or Marilyn Monroe Blonde. Jean Lupien is a Tarantino Blonde.

She was given an opportunity as a child to go to NY. Pete Rozelle, the former NFL Football Commissioner, saw Jean starring in a musical when she was a little kid and invited her to stay with his family and set up meetings for her with Producers all around town. But, Jean hard started training to be a tennis player at the time and suffered a very serious injury that forced her to decline the invitation. Immediately following her recovery, Renee Richards took Jean on as her protege. But, despite being a gifted athlete, Jean wasn't willing to do the work required to fulfill her potential and they eventually parted ways.

Soon after, Jean got her heart broken and she could all of a sudden write music. Opportunities presented themselves for her to sing on a very public level but, Jean resorted to the same self-sabotage. She could not get out of her own way. And, a complicated relationship with her mother didn't help. Her mom enlisted the counsel of an astrologer from the time Jean was very young and Jean's destiny was written...Nothing short of worldwide fame or being elected President of the United States was going to be enough - the stars and the planets said so. This led to a period of rebellion and a significant length of time where Jean had to come to terms with what she wanted her life to amount to. She realized after her mom died unexpectedly that it wasn't fame...it was achievement that was worth pursuing - becoming great and being recognized for it. If that happened to lead to recognition on some level...it was now a very different thing.
