Alec Bewkes was born in New York City. He is a writer, director and comedian known for The Creep Tapes (2025), Shut Up, Jack (2024), and Poor Tax (2023). His last short film premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Comedy at San Francisco IndieFest.
