Sonal Sehgal(I)

Sonal Sehgal is an Indian Actress/ Writer/ Producer who started her career with Hit TV shows SAARA AKASH and HOTEL KINGSTON. She made her debut in cinema with Nagesh Kuknoor's critically acclaimed AASHAYEIN opposite John Abraham and then went on to star in a host of Bollywood films including MANTOSTAAN and LIHAAF which garnered much acclaim internationally. Sonal co-wrote the screenplay of LIHAAF which is based on Ismat Chugtai's famed story of the same name. In 2020 Sonal turned producer with her maiden Indo-Latvian Co-production, MANNY, a Sci-Fi film which she has also written and wherein she plays the leading role. Her second co-production THE GREAT DEPARTURE, which she also wrote and starred in, had a theatrical release in France in Novemner 2025 and ran for 8 weeks in cinemas.
