Scott Norwood was born on July 17, 1960 in Alexandria, Virginia, USA.

Led the NFL in Points Scored (129) and Total Field Goals Made (32) in 1988.

Infamous for missing the potentially game-winning field goal in Super Bowl XXV. Buffalo Bills were trailing the New York Giants, 19-20 with 8 seconds left in the game and Norwood went on the field for a 47-yard field goal attempt that would give the Bills the lead and their first Super Bowl win. The kick had enough distance but sailed wide right, giving the Bills their first of four consecutive Super Bowl losses.
