- Amanda MacDonald is a Canadian actor, writer and performer based in Montreal, Quebec. Trained extensively in the Meisner technique, she has worked across film, television and theatre.
Her screen credits include Pink Lake (2020) On the Basis of Sex (2018), The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair (2018), Real Detective (2016), Ascension (2014) and the cult Canadian comedy Who Is KK Downey?(2008). Her stage work has included classical roles such as Rosalind in As You Like It and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing.
MacDonald is also a writer and certified auctioneer, bringing an unusually varied background to her work as a performer.
