Morgan is a Freelance Sound Engineer and Composer based in Te Awamutu, New Zealand. He has been working in the creative media industry since 2005. 10 of these years were spent on the heart of Wellington's film industry working with heavy weight directors such as Sir Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg.
Morgan has worked in Film, TV, Music, Theatre and Podcast production in roles varying from Sound Designer, Sound Mixer, Dialogue & SFX Editor through to Musical Composer.
International clients include Formula 1, Zipcar, Facebook, NFL, ESPN, Twitter, Dropbox, NCAA, Bupa and more In 2012 Morgan won a MPSE Golden Reel Award for best Sound Editing on an animated feature as ADR Editor on Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin.
Today Morgan operates from a purpose-built studio nestled in the lush farmland of Pōkuru, Waikato - a quiet environment that's perfectly suited to focused, detail-oriented production work. Clients range from independent New Zealand filmmakers to global brands and broadcasters, working remotely or via studio visits by arrangement.
