Montse Caminal was born on September 15, 1962 in Barcelona, Spain. She is an actress, known for Silenci (2007), Més enllà del riu (2012) and El cor de la ciutat (2000). She has been married to Pau de Font since August 10, 1985. They have two children.

The runaway story of her character Dolors in Silenci (2007) was inspired by the runaway story of Natalie Ravenna (Shirley Knight) in Francis Ford Coppola's The Rain People (1969).
