- Aimee Mayo is an American country music singer and songwriter. She was born in Glencoe (near Gadsden), Alabama. She comes from a musical family. Her father is musician, Danny Bear Mayo, and her brother is Cory Mayo. As a teen, she was signed as a songwriter with BMG, where she met her husband, songwriter Chris Lindsey. She and Chris have three children and live in Nashville, Tennessee. Mayo wrote the song "Amazed", which was recorded by the band Lonestar. She's also written songs for Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Kellie Pickler. She was also a regular musical contributor to the show Nashville (2012).
