Biography

Siobhán Clements-Daly (née Daly) is a British-born Producer and Artistic Director who studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), King's College London and the University of Oxford.

Clements-Daly worked on the BAFTA winning 'Home' directed by Daniel Mulloy, and the BAFTA nominated 'Work' directed by Aneil Karia. In 2016, Clements-Daly was jury-selected by BAFTA for BAFTA Crew. She worked at the BBC in departments including BBC Drama Production alongside BAFTA winning drama producer and director Pier Wilkie, Commissioning for BBC Daytime and for BBC Events on live outdoor broadcasts. These included 'Concert for Diana' at Wembley starring Elton John, 'Live Earth' at Wembley headlined by Madonna, the 'Children in Need' appeal nights and major royal and state ceremonial events including HM The Queen's Christmas Broadcast.

Her extensive work includes being the first female and youngest ever Associate Producer at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London's West End, working with directors such as Sir Trevor Nunn, and producing the award-nominated, sell-out productions of Grassroots Shakespeare London, who also performed at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) as part of the World Shakespeare Festival. In April 2014, Grassroots celebrated Shakespeare's 450th birthday as the only company performing the Bard's work in London's West End with their sold out production of 'Othello' starring the BBC's James Alexandrou as Iago at Leicester Square Theatre, as well as reading sonnets with Damian Lewis at the London Guildhall. Grassroots Shakespeare is the London's West End resident company based at Leicester Square Theatre.

Siobhan was identified as one of Britain's top future commercial producers by the West End's SOLT/ TMA, one of only six people selected to train with their prestigious scheme, Stage One, in 2013. She worked with Edward Snape of Fiery Angel on the Olivier Awards winning productions 'Goodnight Mr Tom' (tour and West End), The '39 Steps' (tour and West End) and 'The Ladykillers' (tour and West End). Siobhán has also been a judge for the Olivier Awards, sitting on the Opera Panel.

As part of her passion to engage young people in the arts, Siobhán was the Chair of the English National Opera Young Patron's programme, spearheading its redevelopment and growth. She was supported in her role by Sir Peter Bazalgette while he was the Chair of the ENO.
