Bonnie Allen is a known clogger. She learned as a child from her family. Her mother and extended family were once a traveling clogging square dance team that performed at county fairs.

Bonnie Allen is a classically trained actress who spent 5 years with a Shakespearean Theater Company located in Asheville, NC. During her tenure at Montford Park Players she served on their board of directors till her resignation in Jan of 2014.
