Giorgos Kouvaras(I)

George Kouvaras is a Greek journalist, television presenter, and political analyst whose career has developed across print, radio, and television. He studied law at the University of Athens and later completed postgraduate studies in journalism at City, University of London. He began his professional path in political reporting and became closely associated with Eleftheros Typos, where he worked for many years as both an editor and columnist. His broadcast work includes positions at radio stations such as Athina 9.84, Flash, and City, along with television hosting roles on NET and later on Kontra Channel with Epi tou piestiriou. He went on to present Evening Report on ACTION24, a program he led for several years, and has since continued his on air presence with ERT as a political analyst. He also served as the moderator of the leaders debate held ahead of the 2023 Greek national elections. Outside his professional life, he has a long standing interest in music and enjoys singing folk songs in informal settings.
