Biography

Rei Kondoh is a composer and sound creator based in Japan, known for his work across film, video games, animation, television, and visual media. He began studying piano, classical music, composition, and music theory at the age of three, and has since developed a career creating music that blends orchestral writing, electronica, rock, and diverse musical influences. His credits include Resident Evil: Death Island, Ōkami, the Bayonetta series, Devil May Cry 4, and the Fire Emblem series, among many other projects. He has composed music across a wide range of genres, adapting his approach to the unique world and requirements of each project. In addition to composition, Kondoh works in arrangement, orchestration, and sound production. While primarily creating music for visual media, he also continues to release original works.
