Andrew Koyama was born and raised in Montana, amidst the backdrop of the state's rugged beauty and expansive horizons. A standout athlete, he was a high school all-class state champion wrestler and a member of the NCAA D1 champion University of Montana football team. Before embarking on his career in film, Andrew spent eight years as a wildland firefighter in aviation.

Determined to bring stories to life, Andrew earned his MFA in Film and Television Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He was awarded the E.S. Award for Merit in Directing, recognizing his dedication and skill in visual storytelling.

Andrew's professional experience spans editing feature films and documentaries, as well as working as a cinematographer on a range of projects. Additionally, he is recognized for his roles as an actor in TV shows and commercials that have aired around the world.
