Al Horford was born on June 3, 1986 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. He is an actor, known for FanDuel Sports Network (2021), NBA Ballers: Chosen One (2008) and NBA on NBC (1990). He has been married to Amelia Vega since December 24, 2011. They have six children.

Selected by the Atlanta Hawks 3rd overall in the 2007 NBA Draft out of Florida, where he was a member of two NCAA championship teams with Corey Brewer and Joakim Noah.
