Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Steven Kelly Phelan was born August 2nd, 1993, in The Colony, Texas. At age nine, his family moved to Whitewright, Texas. There, amidst the monotony of rural life, Phelan began to try his hand at film making, with a small hand camera he had received one Christmas. It wasn't long before he had started an amateur career on YouTube making short films, sketch comedies, and music videos for his family and friend's entertainment. Once in high school, Phelan had expanded into heavy involvement with community theater in a much bigger town near Whitewright. He realized on stage that he not only wanted to get behind the limelight, but behind a camera as well. He would go on to graduate and enroll in Full Sail University's Bachelor's of Film program. in June of 2014, he graduated with intentions of starting his career in New York City. There, he plans to freelance film work and begin production on his first feature film.

Kelly Phelan also writes music under the band name, &quot;Kel Falllion&quot;, and once attended a seminar with the band, &#39;Awolnation&#39;. There he met the lead guitarist, Drew Stewart. Phelan explained his musical ideas in conversation with the band at which point was posed with the question by Stewart, &quot;Wow, do you want to come on tour with us right now?&quot;. Phelan refused the offer to continue attending film school partly on the basis that he didn&#39;t feel it was a &#39;legitimate offer.&#39;.

Kelly Phelan, whilst gripping on a school-related film, bumped into Alec Baldwin&#39;s brother, William Baldwin on set. It was only after the brief encounter that Phelan even realized who had showed up to this shoot and proved to ultimately be a missed opportunity to network in the Hollywood circuit.
