Steven Kelly Phelan was born August 2nd, 1993, in The Colony, Texas. At
age nine, his family moved to Whitewright, Texas. There, amidst the
monotony of rural life, Phelan began to try his hand at film making,
with a small hand camera he had received one Christmas. It wasn't long
before he had started an amateur career on YouTube making short films,
sketch comedies, and music videos for his family and friend's
entertainment. Once in high school, Phelan had expanded into heavy
involvement with community theater in a much bigger town near
Whitewright. He realized on stage that he not only wanted to get behind
the limelight, but behind a camera as well. He would go on to graduate
and enroll in Full Sail University's Bachelor's of Film program. in
June of 2014, he graduated with intentions of starting his career in
New York City. There, he plans to freelance film work and begin
production on his first feature film.
