Dmitry Milkin

Dmitry Milkin was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He immigrated to the US as a refugee during the fall of communism. Dmitry is an optioned Bay Area writer and director of live action and animated films. His multi-award winning animated short "Curpigeon" was an official selection at 32 film festivals around the world, including the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, where it premiered with Kobe Bryant and Glen Keane's Oscar-winning short "Dear Basketball." Curpigeon was selected for Tribeca's in-flight entertainment on United Airlines flights. It also won the top five shorts on Amazon Prime's Tribeca Film Festival shorts competition. Dmitry's writing has also garnered multiple honors from Hollyshorts Screenwriting competition, Screencraft Film Fund, and Cinequest.

His 2024 follow up "Good Guy with a Pun" is an original independent pilot premiering at Seriesfest.
