Biography

Symon, also known under the name Sylvain, is a Montreal based actor and filmmaker. Formally trained as an actor, he began his acting career in 2007 and quickly fell for writing, directing and producing his own projects. He also worked on other ones feature film projects, in the production department and as a first assistant director. Having worked in almost every department of movie making, including editing and cinematography, his technical knowledge is rather significant considering that, at first, he only wanted to be an actor. Like Orson Wells, Woody Allen and Clint Eastwood, his main motivation to make movies is often to stage himself in roles he likes to play.
