Dan Devine was born on December 23, 1924 in Augusta, Wisconsin, USA. He died on May 9, 2002 in Tempe, Arizona, USA.

Head coach of the NFL Green Bay Packers, 1971-1974.

Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1985.

Head football coach at Arizona State University (1955-1957), University of Missouri (1958-1970), and University of Notre Dame (1975-1980).
