Lisa Loven Kongsli is a Norwegian actress internationally recognized for her emotionally intelligent and layered performances across Scandinavian and international film productions.
Born in Oslo, she achieved worldwide breakthrough acclaim with her leading role as Ebba in Ruben Östlund’s Force Majeure, which received critical praise and won the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.
Kongsli has since built an extensive international career spanning auteur cinema and major studio productions. Global audiences also know her for portraying Menalippe in Wonder Woman and Zack Snyder’s Justice League, as well as for her role in Netflix’s psychological thriller The Woman in Cabin 10, starring opposite Keira Knightley and Guy Pearce.
Her leading role in Janicke Askevold’s Solomamma earned her the award for Best Actress at the Barcelona Film Festival in 2026.
Kongsli also plays a central role in acclaimed Romanian filmmaker Cristian Mungiu’s latest feature, Fjord, which won the Palme d’Or at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
