Alexei Slater is a writer, filmmaker and development executive from the UK. Since 2011, his award-winning short films have screened in numerous OSCAR, BAFTA and BIFA 'qualifying festivals', and other prestigious international festivals including Rhode Island International Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, Athens International Film and Video Festival, Florida Film Festival, Los Angeles Comedy Festival, Dinard Festival of British Cinema, The European Independent Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, London Short Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Norwich Film Festival, UK Jewish Film Festival, The Shortest Nights, Crystal Palace International Film Festival, Unrestricted View Film Festival, East End Film Festival and Carmarthen Bay Film Festival. Alexei also consults on short films from emerging filmmakers through his company, Turn The Slate Productions.
