The campaign involved photographs taken by Oliviero Toscani which featured Caro naked, with her gaunt and fragile figure on display and the words "No Anorexia" beside her. After claims that the campaign seemed to be a way for No.l.ita to exploit the disease for commercial gain, the adverts were banned in several countries.
