Biography

Brooke deRosa is an award-winning composer, conductor, vocalist, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, known for her work across film, television, opera and musical theatre. She composed the score for The Merry Gentlemen (Netflix, 2024), which reached #1 globally, and frequently writes music for Lifetime films and holiday features. Her operas include The Yellow Wallpaper, which premiered at Carnegie Hall in 2025, and Alice in Wonderland, which debuted in 2024 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre. Brooke has conducted music for film and television projects including Luke Cage, Scandal, Queens, and Run This Town. As a vocalist, she is featured on Netflix's Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and Marvel's Luke Cage.
