Nora Madrid died of the young age of 22 due to typhoid fever.

In Liwayway Pictures' Ina ng awa (1949) and Alamat ng perlas na itim (1949), she was billed as Anita de Castro but when Premiere Productions signed her up, she was billed as Nora Madrid.
