Sharon Sellinger

Sharon Higdon, aka Sharon Sellinger, american model from the 60s. Sharon Higdon, was elected Miss Jefferson County in 1963. She was beautiful and got a part in the movie Goldfinger (1964) with a brief appearance, she had to get off of a plane at Bowman Field and was part of Pussy Galore's Gal Squad of pilots. She was seen about 4 seconds, then other english actresses played the roles of the pilots. She's the first pretty blonde with the ponytail you see in the screen when the planes land. The Flying Circus Pilots appear as professional women aviators, almost all blondes models. Her only contact with the world of Hollywood was being chosen by the film's producers and directors who asked to meet some blonds" at a local model agency. Most of the shooting took place in London, England, Miami, or Fort Knox, but her big scene was filmed at Bowman Field. The camera lights on her as she climbs from a plane, then switches to other girls in London.

Sharon married Frank Lee Sellinger, an all-American football player, im 1965. Sharon has been a Catholic evangelist for several years.
