Biography

Iván Rufat is a Spanish sound designer, supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer working in film and television. With an extensive career in audiovisual sound post-production, his work spans sound design, dialogue and effects editing, and final mixing, with a particular focus on creating detailed and narrative-driven soundtracks.

Throughout his career, Iván Rufat has contributed to a wide range of feature films, documentaries, television productions and short films. His work has received recognition from the Spanish and Valencian film industries, including Goya, Gaudí, Fugaz and Lola Gaos awards and nominations.

Based in Valencia, Spain, he continues to work across sound editorial, sound design and re-recording mixing for film and audiovisual productions
