Haroon John is a Dallas, Texas, USA based Cinematographer. He started his television career in year 2000 with the film based TV show 'Heart Talks' as an assistant cameraman and later worked in the sound department for the television show 'Ariel Mothers' by the British Director, Kamran Qureshi, which continued till 2002.
Throughout his career, he has not only been involved in lighting, sound, and camera, but also worked as a Production Assistant and Assistant Director.
In 2003, he was one of the Cinematographers in the Documentary Drama 'Son of a Lion', which was released in 2007. He was Production Manager and second Cameraman in 2011 for the documentary, Nusrat The Last Prophet of Music, directed by Tomek Wysokinski.
Haroon John taught Film & Television Production courses (focussing on camera, sound, and lighting) at National College of Arts Lahore for 10 years.
