  • Armando Croda is a Mexican American filmmaker based in New York. He is the director, cinematographer and editor of the documentary "Ya me Voy" (2018), acclaimed at the Hot Docs and DocNYC film festivals and winner of the award for best Mexican film at DocsMX and a special mention for best documentary at the International Film Festival of Morelia. He is the producer of "I am Vanessa Guillén" (2022) for Netflix, producer director of photography and editor of "Straighten Up and Fly Right" (2022), winner of best film at Slamdance in 2022. As an editor he has worked on the films "Stone Mountain" (2024), winner of Best USA Documentary at DocNYC in 2024, "Loudmouth" (2023), closing gala of the 2022 Tribeca International Festival and nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Current Affairs, "The Infiltrators" (2019) by Alex Rivera and Cristina Ibarra-winner of the Audience Award in the Next section of the Sundance Film Festival, "Jay Myself" by Stephen Wilkes (2018) for Oscilloscope, "Out of Many One" (2018) by John Hoffman and Nanfu Wang and "Havana Motor Club" (2015 ) by Bent-Jorgen Perlmutt.
