Naz Khan is a Chicago-based American filmmaker born to a Pakistani family with roots in India and Pakistan. A producer known for visually driven storytelling and a highly collaborative approach, her work spans narrative shorts, features, and digital projects. Her credits include The Replacement (2018), Mikey to the P: Big City (2016), Untamed Tongue (2017), and the feature Cyrus (2010).
Khan’s projects have received multiple festival recognitions, including selections at Berlin Sci-Fi, London Sci-Fi, HollyShorts, and the Chicago International Film Festival, with The Replacement earning notable attention on the festival circuit. As a Production Designer, she is recognized for balancing strong vision with on-set efficiency, often collaborating closely with directors, cinematographers, and production teams.
She holds a BFA in Visual Communication from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and completed graduate-level coursework in MFA Film Directing at Columbia College Chicago.
