Robert has over one hundred professional design credits in live theater, film, and television. His scenic designs have been presented in venues nationwide, winning awards for best scenic design from the Bay Area Theater Critics Circle in 2007 and 2009. In 2011 he was awarded a national commendation for excellence in scenic design from The Kennedy Center. He was a scenic design member of United Scenic Artists I.A.T.S.E. local 829 from 2007-2012 and is currently a junior set designer in The Art Directors' Guild I.A.T.S.E. local 800. He earned his BA in scenic design from Cal State Fullerton and his MFA in scenic design at UC Davis.
